How to Crochet a Floral Bow Hair Clip

In this post you’re going to learn how to crochet a floral bow hair clip! This crochet pattern is EASY to learn, and the main bow pattern is made entirely of single crochet stitches!

In order to complete the yellow floral bow pattern, you will need to know how to crochet with multiple colors. I recommend checking for color-work crochet tutorials on YouTube to learn this!

Supplies:

• Size 4 Cotton yarn of choice. I used “I LOVE THIS COTTON” yarn. You can also use an acrylic yarn but it is heavier in my opinion. (30 grams/bow)
• Size 4.5mm crochet hook.
• No-Crease Hair Clips to hot glue to the back of the bow.
• Hot glue
• Yarn needle for embroidery

About this Pattern:

• Finished bow is about 10.5in long, Floral bow is about 8in long when folded.
• Stitch Key(U.S. Terms): ch- chain, Sc- single crochet, st- stitch, Dc- double crochet, sl-st- slip stitch.
• Color work knowledge for yellow floral bow is a must.
• Gauge:7 sc x 8 rows = 2x2in/5.08cm

Yellow Floral Bow Pattern:

(RS)/(WS)- right side/wrong side (This is helpful if you keep your yarn tails to the “back side” of your work. RS is typically crocheting right to left, and WS is left to right when looking at a graph)

To Start: With A (main color of choice) ch 112
