I’ve put together a list for you, of items that will grab your customers attention, make your crochet items stand out, be quick to make, and sold at a fair price that leaves both you and your customers happy!
When designing crochet items for Spring and Summer Markets, it’s important that your products are not too warm. Consider using light cotton and soft bamboo yarns when crocheting your patterns. Some of my favorite choices are Lionbrand’s 24/7 Cotton and I Love This Cotton.
Thank you to the wonderful crochet designers in this list that allowed me to feature their patterns!

When choosing crochet patterns to make for your markets this season, try to choose patterns that are:
- Quick to make: You want to make sure any item you plan on selling can be reproduced in 1 day or less. This will help keep your inventory up, which is important because shoppers want to see your tables and booths full of wonderful items to admire and purchase.
- Easy on the hands and mind: When we’re making so many items over and over again, we want our crochet patterns to be mindless and easy to follow. We want easy stitch patterns, and simple instructions!
- Able to be sold at a fair price: While this depends on where your market takes place, you want to consider your ideal customer and what they would be willing to spend on your items. You don’t want to under sell yourself, and you definitely want to turn a profit. The patterns in this list are sure to sell at a price that meets your goals and appeals to your customers!
What items sell best at your markets? Let us know!
I hope this list was helpful for you all! I’ll see you in the next post!
